The Dubai Marina has become known as an expatriate neighborhood due to the concentration of
foreigners living there. It is a 50 million square foot waterfront development that is located
beside a 3.5-kilometer span canal that offers access to the Persian Gulf on both sides. Due to
the high volume of construction going on in the area, rents for apartments in the vicinity have
become more affordable and accessible to more Dubai visitors, whether they be tourists or
investors.
The waterfront community is composed of ten districts, which have their own distinct identity.
The area is also home to the Dubai Marina Mall, which is comprised of 150,000 square meters of
entertainment and shopping outlets as well as the Dubai Marina Walk, which is located along the
waterfront and features a range of cosmopolitan restaurants and retail outlets. There are many
bars in the beachfront hotels that have a license to sell alcohol. You can also drink at the
Yacht Club, which has a happy hour during weekends. In addition, virtually any service a
resident requires is readily available, including dry cleaners, pharmacies, clinics and salons,
as well as a Spinneys supermarket.
There are some 200 high-rise residential buildings in Dubai Marina such as Princess Marina,
Ocean Heights and 23 Marina. All of the residential properties for rent boast of modern
facilities and the apartments available range from apartments with one to six bedrooms and
luxury villas with three to four bedrooms. The high-rise apartments boast of a spectacular
unobstructed view of the Dubai skyline and the surrounding marina.
These facilities include gyms and fitness centers, swimming pools, community lounges, squash and
badminton courts and concierge services. The development is also family and kid-friendly since
there are parks and playgrounds where children can play in a secure and safe environment.
